As Windsor’s only locally based Fibre Internet company, MNSi Telecom joined the index list for the first-time this year, placing 10th in Canada for Gaming Quality.

Using at least 100 different tests for hundreds of ISPs in Canada, PCMag recorded results from 146,071 people in Canada between December 1, 2020, and November 29, 2021 using the PCMag Speed Test web page.

“We’re thrilled to be included on the list for Best Gaming Internet Service Providers in Canada,” said Clayton Zekelman, President and Owner of MNSi. “As a local Internet provider with local staff, local support and a completely independent infrastructure from the national companies, this shows that our hard work and dedication to the gaming community continues to reap players all the benefits they’ll need for the ultimate gaming experience.”

If you're a gamer, low latency and low jitter are the keys to an internet connection that delivers. Moving packets across a network in the smallest number of milliseconds (latency) and making that consistent (jitter) is something only the best fiber-optic based networks can provide for top-quality gaming.

Only one other company that offers services in the Windsor, LaSalle and Lakeshore area made the list for Gaming Quality.

This joins past gaming announcements from MNSi like peering agreements with Valve Software, Blizzard Entertainment, Riot Games and Twitch.tv. These arrangements reduced latency and improved performance for Fibre customers using those services.

MNSi’s fibre roll-out is the company's single largest infrastructure buildout since it began in 1995 and provides customers with a direct link to the fibre source. Since 2013, more than 3.5 million metres of Fibre duct and cable have been laid across the region, from LaSalle to Lakeshore, with more than 5 million locally invested man hours to get the job done.

MNSi is a local Windsor-based company that has been providing Internet services to Windsor and the surrounding areas since 1995. Technical support and customer service teams are based in Windsor, with no offshore or outsourced call centres.
