The African Canadian Heritage Tour includes 5 cities in the Essex and Kent areas of Southern Ontario, each a rich repository of the history of enslaved African Americans who found their way here via the Underground Railroad. Many remained in Canada after the emancipation and the tour shows the rich history of the communities. Travel information may be obtained through travel agents. |
