Marie-Rose Music School offers an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the music of their preference for entertainment, for High School credits, preparation for University and leading towards a professional career in the discipline of their choice.
Our classically trained teachers are qualified and experienced in preparing students for Conservatory examinations with the Royal Conservatory of Music – Toronto. Marie-Rose Music School is an examination centre for the Royal Conservatory.
A pre-school programme is available for Junior & Senior Kindergarten children.
For the junior students, this school offers weekly classes in Theory, Solfeggio, Melodic Dictation and Ear Training. For the Intermediate to Advance students, Rudiments, History and Harmony are offered at all levels.
Marie Rose Music School is continuing the tradition first established in 1865 by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary originally situated in St. Joseph’s Academy.
