About Steve |
|
Born and raised in Windsor, I attended East Windsor public schools including Coronation, Princess Anne, MS Hetherington, Edith Cavell and WF Herman. I fondly remember those schools and the experiences I had in them. I was a member of the Canadian Naval Reserve for almost 10 years, serving as a Naval Signalman at HMCS Hunter on Ouellette Ave, and abroad with various units and ships of the Canadian Navy. The good times I remember were serving on ships Porte Dauphine, Porte St Jean, and Gatineau, and serving as a part of the Naval contingent of the Canadian Forces, helping the people of Winnipeg and Manitoba during the Red River floods of 1997. In 2000, I decided on a new challenge in life, running in and winning a seat on the Board of Trustees of the Public School Board. In the 2003 election, I was re-elected to the seat. In 2006, I hope to once again serve you, and the community in which we live. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, sports including hockey, baseball and motor racing. I am self-employed and building a business with longtime friends. |
