Description:

When Wide Mouth Mason came on to the Canadian music scene in 1997 their debut cd got amazing reviews from most of the Canadian magazines and websites. They even landed a gig at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Canada, at the time they were the only Canadian band to perform their. Shaun got a sponsership deal with Gibson Guitars which he still has today, he can have as many of their guitars as he wants, now that's a great deal. Everyone was wondering what Wide Mouth would put out next and this is it, Where I Started. Where I Started is a brilliant cd by these three musician's, every song on the cd deserves a listen there are no dull moments, except maybe some of their lyrics. The only thing missing from this cd that really dissapointed me was that Shaun didn't really do any really good guitar work, like on their self titled cd. They have released four singles on this cd Why, Companion, Sugarcane and the newest one Half A Chance. If all you've heard are the singles from this cd, go pick it up, it's really worth listening to, there are way better songs on this cd than what they released as singles. Wide Mouth are busy recording their new cd now, and I'm really looking forward to hearing it.
