Description:

This is I Mother Earth's third cd, but first cd with new singer Brian Byrne. I had mixed feelings about the new I Mother Earth, when I first heard Summertime In The Void come on the radio, I was expecting to hear a singer that sounded a lot like Edwin. But I was really wrong, after hearing that song a few times it started to grow on me, and I began to like it. I wasn't at all happy to hear that Edwin had left the band, but I think Brian does a great job of replacing him, he brings a whole new sound to I Mother Earth. The opening song Love Your Starfish opens the cd off to a good start, and my feelings of the cd stay with me through the whole thing. I had a really tough time deciding what songs to put has my favourites on the record because most of the songs, if not all of the songs, are really worth listening too. I think Jag Tanna the guitarist of I Mother Earth, is one of the most over looked guitarist Canada has, it seems that only real fans of I Mother Earth's music recognizes his talent, which goes the same for Christian Tanna, and Bruce Gordon, who are also amazing at what they do. I Mother Earth are noticed as one of Canada's top acts, but I'm not sure maybe it's just me but I think I Mother Earth on more of a technical side of things needs to be looked at a little more.
