This Edwin's first solo effort after leaving I Mother Earth. Edwin recorded two cd's with I Mother Earth and left while they were at the height of their success, every member of I Mother Earth will tell you a different story of why he left, Edwin says it was creative differences and I Mother Earth says they fired him, I don't think I believe they fired him though. Edwin so far as released three singles on this cd, Trippin', Hang Then and And You, he won one or two Much Music video awards for the video Hang Ten. If Edwin was trying to get as far away from his I Mother Earth days he did a good job at doing that. There isn't any really good songs on this cd, but there are a couple better than others. In the chorus of Trippin' Edwin says "I feel like a star" but I can guarantee if he was never in I Mother Earth, this cd wouldn't make him one.
