I've never been much of a tourist, but I've lived in a variety of locations and have enjoyed a variety of accommodation. In Liverpool I always lived with my parents. They had a semidetached house in Mossley Hill. While I was in Macclesfield I lived in company housing on a construction site. My three months in London were spent in a hotel. In Salford and Edmonton I owned my own home. In Conway I lived on my boat. Elsewhere I've shared, rented, boarded, or roomed. In Pickering the house was an old school building with terrazzo floors and high ceilings and blackboards.
