Anita was certified as a Practitioner of Harp Therapy in 1997, having completed her course with the International Harp Therapy Program then based in Burlington, Vermont. Experience was gained while in the course at the San Diego Hospice, Burlington General Hospital in paediatrics, neurosurgery and Alzheimer wards.

Since January 1999, Anita has been employed weekly at the Versa Care Facility in Windsor Ontario, doing one-on-one with patients in this long term care home. Harp music is requested at memorial services, in the palliative care rooms, for patients with rheumatoid arthritis and aphasia.

Anita is available to work within hospitals, clinics, treatment centres, nursing homes, schools and day spas as a Harp Therapist. She is especially interested in working with research teams in pain management, stress reduction as well as music and medicine.
