Stewart Burk
This will serve as my introduction to your council as your new field
agent. My name is Stewart Burk and I have been a field agent with the
Knights of Columbus for the last eight and a half years. I am working on
obtaining my Certified Financial Planner Designation. I am married to my
wife Renee for the last 31 years. We have 3 children two daughters and a
son and last year our two youngest got married.
Our oldest daughter has been married for almost 8 years. My son
Brian and son-in-law Sean Bristow are now members of your council. We have
two grand children and one due the end of May, so we are now waiting for
that fantastic day.
It will be my pleasure to work with and for you as a member of the
Knights of Columbus to secure a safe financial future for you and your
loved ones. In my time with the Knights of Columbus, I have had over 90
members pass away in the councils that I have looked after. These members
have ranged from 45 years old up. I have discovered that age does not
matter, the emotional and financial strain on the families is virtually
the same. The members that have taken the time to sit down and review
their situation with me have enjoyed my services in time of need. Many
widows have told me that they wish they had paid more attention to the
suggestion and advice that they had received prior to their spouses
passing.
A Knights of Columbus field agent has the responsibility to visit
with every member and fill out a family service record. Some of the
planning that the Knight’s can help you with: Mortgage Insurance, Life
Insurance, RRSP’s, RRIF’s, Cash Deposits, Education Savings, Retirement
Planning and Savings, Estate and Asset Transfer Protection and Long Term
Care needs.
Please help me to accomplish my fraternal duty by allowing us to
meet as brother Knights.
