great turnout for this event.

coffee, tea, and dessert and Taxes.
Our joint venture with Fr. A. Nolan Council # 9865 with a dinner
and concert is the start of councils helping each other out to raise
money’s for our respective charities in order to serve the community. On
Saturday March 29th the two councils are putting on a chicken
dinner and Country gospel fest at our council with three different acts.
Performers for the evening are Noel Marentette, Rankin Brothers, with
special feature Matt Linton. Please come out and support this fundraiser.
Sponsors, of new member please bring him to our general meeting so
that they have a chance to meet the membership and maybe find something
they may like to get involved in at the council. If someone does not feel
welcome it is hard to get him involved and we may lose out in a great
Knight by the loss of his talent and input in the future of our council.
Pope Benedict XVI is visiting the United States April 15-20, 2008.
Here is a prayer for all of us to pray for a safe journey for the Pope on
his trip.
Almighty Father, who pours forth blessings in abundance upon us, we
humbly pray that you will inspire, guide and protect Pope Benedict XVI on
his pastoral visit to the United States. Lord God, bless our Holy Father
who comes as a messenger of peace and charity to all people of faith and
good will. May his presence in the United States serve to build up the
bonds that unite us who are each made in your image and likeness, and may
his teaching and witness strengthen the faith of the People of God.
Father, we lovingly entrust Pope Benedict’s visit to the care of Lady of
Guadalupe, Queen of the Americas. Through her prayers may he be preserved
from all harm, and may he shine forth with the truth of the Gospel that he
proclaims, and may his presence among us foster a renewal of the Church in
our country. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord, Amen.
Fraternally Yours,
Michael B. La Butte
