For September 2002

Bro. Bob and Sallie Mayea

Brother Bob and Sallie will be celebrating their 38~ wedding anniversary on November 14. They were joined in marriage in 1964 at St. John Vianney in Windsor. Bob is now retired after working for 36 1/2 years for Chrysler Caaada. Sallie is still active in the workforce. She has been employed at McBride Metal Fabricating for the past 5 years. They have 3 children and 7 grand­children.

FAMILY MEMBERS:

ROB (36) is married to Lisa. Rob is a Sergeant for the Hamilton-Wentworth Regional Police

Department. Lisa works as a manager for Fidelity Investment. They have 4 boys, Tyler (9),

Bryce (6), Devyn (4) and Payton (7 months).

CHRISTINE (35) is married to Jeff Hwttenrauc~ Christine is employed by Casino Windsor as an Audit Manager. Jeff is a Windsor Police Officer. They have 1 son, Andrew who is 5 years old.

JIM (33) is also married to a Lisa. He works for Chrysler Canada and Lisa is an audiologist. Their children are Gabrielle (8) and 2 month old Mason.

PARISH INVOLVEMENT:

The Mayea's still attend St. John Vianney Church were they have been parishioners for the last 39

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:

Bob and Sallie are very involved in their community. Bob has coached Riverside Minor Baseball teams for 25 years. He also coached for 27 years various teams for the Riverside Minor Hockey Association and was a member of the Board of Directors for 16 years. Furthermore, Bob was President of the Riverside Bowling League for 8 years.

Sallie was also a member of the Board of Directors for Riverside Minor Hockey Association for 8 years, Riverside Minor Baseball for 12 years, Treasurer for the Riverside Bowling League for 10 years and is presently the Treasurer for Solidarity Towers.

Together, Bob and Sallie assist the elderly in their building with various tasks.

COUNCIL INVOLVEMENT:

Bob has been a Knight since 1968. He has sat on the Charity Committee, helped out with the

Cancer Society. For leisure, Bob and Sallie enjoy bowling with the Council Bowling League and

Sallie also helps out with the can drives, the spaghetti dinners and just recently the World Youth

Our community and council are very blessed to have such a devoted and involved family. We thank you.
