Bro. Ray and Joanne Tellier
Brother Ray and Joanne Tellier were married at St-Mary's Parish in
Maidstone in 1972. Ray worked at Chrysler for 32 years and retired. He now
works part-time for Tremblay Construction as a truck driver and a
part-time school bus driver. Joanne worked for the Windsor Star for 15
years, doing the county run. They have 9 adult children and 8
grand-children.
FAMILY MEMBERS:
DEBRA (30) is married to Dave Lemire. Debra is a home-maker and Dave works
for Dunn
Construction.
PAUL (29) resides in Plymouth, Michigan where he works as a computer
technician.
DARLENE (28) is married to Danny Oregan. Dave is employed by Dorco Doors
and Darlene is a mail sorter for Canada Post. Their two daughters are
Kristal and Erika.
STEVE (28) is married to Patty. He drives trucks for Wolverine Freight and
Patty is an Insurance agent for State Farm. Stephanie and Rachelle are
their daughters.
KIMBERLY (28) is married to Marcel Vanier. Kimberly works at Chrysler and
Marcel works for R & R Tool and Mold. They have 1 son named Louis.
GARY (27) is a truck driver for Allied Carriers.
LORI (27) works at the Belle River Charloal Pit. She has 2 children,
Raymond and Felicia.
GARNELLE (26) is married to Gerald Tremblay. Garnelle is a R.P.N. and
Gerald owns and operates his own semi-truck. Joy is their only child.
JOYCE (25) recently graduated from school. She practices Natural Pathic
Medicine.
PARISH
INVOLVEMENT:
Brother Ray is proud of the fact that he has been a parishioner at
St-Simon and St-Jude Parish in Belle River for over 60 years. His
involvement include usher, Pentacost 2000, Rose Sunday and as a young man
an alter server. Joanne is a member of the Catholic Woman League.
COMMUNITY
INVOLVEMENT:
Ray has over the years helped out by giving his personal time to the Heart
and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society, United Way. Presently, he is
involved with the delivery of Christmas Baskets with the Goodfellows.
Joanne and Ray have both worked bingos for the Lion Club.
COUNCIL INVOLVEMENT:
Brother Ray became a Knight of Columbus on January 19, 1998. Since then he
has been an outside guard, participates in the car raffle, plays on the
bowling league and is a member of the Knights of Columbus International
Bowling Association.
LEISURE/FAMILY
ACTIVITIES:
The Tellier's really enjoy and look forward their annual family reunion at
their Parry Sound Trailer Retreat.
The Riverside Council is honoured to have the Tellier's as an active
family within the organization. We are sincerely grateful.
