Bro.
Bill & Lorraine Mc Cann
Brother Bill and Lorraine were married September 8th
1951 at Most Precious Blood Church. Brother Bill is a retiree from
Chrysler Canada and Loraine is retired from The Riverside Nursing Home.
They have six children and five grandchildren.
FAMILY MEMBERS:
Michael (51) is married to Renee. Michael has worked
for Chrysler Canada for 28 years. They have three girls, Kim (24), Kristy
(20), and Kara (17).
Patricia (49) has worked for Canada Post for thirty
years.
Joseph (47) is married to Lisa. They have two boys,
Brandon (19) and Cory (18).
Catherine (39) has been employed by Zellers for seven
years.
Deceased are William Jr. and Colleen.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
Over the years Brother Bill has been involved in the
community by being a blood donor, a heart and stroke canvasser, a Boy
Scout leader, and a coach and empire of minor league baseball.
COUNCIL INVOLVEMENT:
Brother Bill became a Knight on October 1, 1979.
During the years he has been very helpful and generous with his time. His
involvement with the Council has included selling car raffle tickets,
chili cook off, bingos, good-fellows, kids Christmas party, treasurer for
the bowling league, playing on the golf league, and being a volunteer for
the 2004 international golf tournament.
LEISURE/FAMILY ACTIVITES:
The Mc Cann’s enjoy golfing and bowling, they love
the cottage life and listening to music.
We are grateful to have Brother Bill Mc Cann and his
family involved with our Council. The membership of 4924 are pleased to
have this family honoured with the Family of the Month for May 2004.
