A Young Boy’s Amazing Recovery From PDD and Autism-Like Symptoms

Autism and Malnutrition The Milk Connection

Reduced Excretion of Toxic Mercury May Explain Autism Link

Pasteurized Milk and its Link to Autism

studies suggest that autism might be caused by biological factors that include metabolic disorders, infant vaccinations, food allergies, viral infections

There is no one gene that causes autism. The environmental issues are serious nutritional deficiencies resulting from the Western diet, exposure to toxic metals and materials, and atypical exposure to common childhood diseases. Vaccines may expose children to unacceptable levels of toxic metals like mercury and aluminum; to toxic materials like formaldehyde, endotoxins, and adjuvant formulations; and to altered strains of viruses which are introduced into the body through unnatural routes.

Allergy induced Autism

When our children develop autism they often modify their diet and becoming 'picky' eaters. They choose the foods they wish to eat and consume them to excess. The foods they crave are the foods causing the mischief and their menu often reads: milk, bread, pasta, chicken nuggets, yoghurts. This is in sharp contrast to the normal diet they enjoyed from birth. In addition these children also have many physical problems

Autism & vitamin A

Autistic children are "waking up" using a pioneering approach created by
developmental pediatrician, Mary N. Megson, M.D. Megson is testing the
effects of natural Vitamin A on children with autism. So far, results
seem promising. "Many of these kids are waking up," Megson says. Many
autistic children develop normally until about 15-18 months of age.
"Then all of a sudden, they shut down," says Megson, the former director
of developmental pediatrics at Children's Hospital.

Autism and Vaccines

Perhaps one of the most shocking pieces ever to appear on television this past April: a six-hour taping of a Congressional investigation into the relationship between vaccines and autism among American children.

Autism Intolerance & Allergy (AIA)

Autistic symptoms in the children studied at Birmingham University appeared to be triggered by ingestion of some foods and chemicals, including synthetic food additives, which require the same enzyme during metabolism. Common offenders were wheat, cow's milk, corn, sugar, and citrus fruits, although each child is very different, and may be affected by different substances.

Dietary Interventions in Autism

Three years ago, I began a dietary experiment that has helped my son enormously. Because I spent so much time and energy searching for answers as to why this has helped him, and how to implement this diet, I decided to share it with other parents and professionals. I hope you will find this packet useful. Please feel free to share it with others who may benefit or who are simply looking for more information.

National Vaccine Information Center

Vaccines or immunizations are recommended for every child born in the United States. Vaccinations shouldn't hurt a child but sometimes they do. Before your child takes the risk, find out what it is.

An Invitation to Participate in a Study Investigating One Potential Relationship Between the MMR Vaccine and Autism

Two recent studies have shown that during this decade, there has been an alarming increase in the incidence of Autistic Syndromes in the United States. Both studies have also suggested that this increase will accelerate in the coming years. Because such "outbreak" is so recent, we have postulated that : "Certain families seem to have a genetic predisposition to a fragile immune system. When a mother is repeatedly exposed to certain antigens or toxic environmental factors, she develops antibodies against them, which she transmits to her children. If the immature immune system of those children is attacked, early in life, by several simultaneous antigenic insults, violent complex immune reactions take place, which affect their whole body, and particularly their actively growing brain centers, leading to autism."

Autism - Breaking Through the Wall

Recent discoveries suggest that autism is linked to immune system problems, and a new treatment that improves immune function has been shown to help with autism. Scientists at the University of California at Irving found that an intravenous infusion of immune globulin resulted in marked improvement in several autistic symptoms.

Autism : Is there a vaccine connection?  Part I

Many parents have suspected that such an increased incidence may be due to the administration of certain vaccines, a view vehemently denied by the vaccine authorities. Mothers who themselves were re-vaccinated in adulthood with live virus vaccines have also wondered if by receiving such vaccines, they could have in any way compromised their children’s immune system, and predisposed them to adversely react to their own vaccinations.

We Cured Our Son's Autism

When the doctors said our son would be severely disabled for life, we set out to prove them wrong.

Vitamin B6-Magnesium Therapy for Autistic Spectrum People

"Much of the current interest in megavitamin B6 therapy for autistic children stems from the publication of our report on a double-blind evaluation of vitamin B6 in a group of autistic children which appeared in the American Journal of Psychiatry in 1978. This study, like our 1973 study, provided experimental evidence that B6 was in fact helpful. Following the publication of our two successful studies, additional reports by other researchers have appeared, all of which confirm our findings.
