Here in this section you will find links, comments etc. to those internet sites that have blessed us. Please note that we may not agree with everything on these sites and in no way are we suggesting that they would agree with anything or everything on our site.

You will find a real diversity of sites but that is simply a reflection of our spiritual journey. Some of the sites have very different beliefs and some of these sites are sites that I would have never recommended just a few years ago but God is leading us to people and places we never thought would be part of our life. However, we feel much richer for it, definitely much more free and are finding it so much easier to experience God in so many wonderful ways. For Kelly and I, we are doing our best to find that which works best for us from a lot of different perspectives. Clicking on the icons or the URLs will take you to the various sites.

ECKHART TOLLE - http://eckharttolle.com/

Though Kelly and I stumbled on the teachings of Eckhart Tolle not all that long ago, they have already had an enormous influence in our lives. Without embracing any specific religious faith, Eckhart’s books can truly help someone experience personal transformation in a very deep and powerful way. The Power of Now and A New Earth - Awakening To Your Life’s Purpose rank way up there on my list of recommended books. In fact,  A New Earth is probably in my number one spot.

Brad Scott

NEALE DONALD WALSCH - Conversations With God - Neale is the author of several  books including Conversations With God. If you don’t know the story of how Conversations With God came to be written, I won’t spoil it but it is an amazing story told in the movie of the same name. Again all of Neale’s books are very high on my favourites list. http://www.nealedonaldwalsch.com/

DR. WAYNE DYER - http://www.drwaynedyer.com/ The first time I saw Dr. Dyer was on PBS. As I listened to this man, I had this sense that I was actually watching someone who lived out what he was sharing and teaching. I actually believed that if I met him in person, I wouldn’t be disappointed. He would be the “image” of his teachings. I think the integrity and spirituality Kelly and I saw in Dr. Dyer created in us an openness and willingness to explore other spiritual views. He has authored many books and they are all terrific.

BRAD SCOTT - Wildbranch Ministry - http://www.wildbranch.org/

Kelly and I are blessed to call Brad Scott and his wife, Carol, friends. If you are interested in studying the Bible from its original Hebraic perspective with an emphasis on the Hebrew language, Brad is your guy. If I had to pick one person to study the Bible with, it would be Brad.

1) LifeStream is the ministry of Wayne Jacobsen. We were blessed to have Wayne here in 2006 and would welcome him back anytime. It seems to me that Wayne has a very simple philosophy -- develop an intimate relationship with God and then share it passionately with others. http://lifestream.org/index.html All of Wayne’s books are terrific but....

2) So You Don’t Want To Go To Church Anymore - One of my all-time favourite books. Jake Colsen is a pseudonym for two co-authors, Wayne Jacobsen, mentioned above, and Dave Coleman. This book can be read on-line or purchased. I couldn’t put it down.

“If you’re tired of just going through the motions of Christianity and want to mine the depths of what it really means to live deeply in Christ, you’ll find Jake’s story will give you hope for your own. This book probes the difficult questions and offers some far-reaching answers. It just might turn your world upside down as well!” Quote from http://www.jakecolsen.com/

3) The Shack by William Young - I first heard about this book from Wayne Jacobsen. Here is what he has to say about it: “Don’t miss this. If there is a better book out there capturing God’s engaging nature and his ability to crawl into our darkest nightmare with his love, light and healing, I’ve not seen it. For the most ardent believer or newest spiritual seeker, the Shack is a must-read.” I heartily concur with Wayne’s review. http://theshackbook.com/index.html

After reading The Shack I sent Wayne an e-mail. It simply said “I cried and I cried and I cried.” I also sent out a recommendation to people on our e-mail list. If you are interested you can read what I wrote by clicking HERE.
