For the 'PAPER MACHETE' party, Carousel-related artists began to gather at Common Ground on Thursday morning (Nov 09), and spent the next two days together haunting the gallery in a kind of 48 hour 'artmaking residency', decorating the walls with collages, exploring the limits of paper, listening to music and having fun in the name of art! Throughout the time, invited local guests stopped by to participate & collaborate... and the entire event peaked on Saturday Nov 11, when the installation was declared complete and open to the public!
