Who is at risk for HIV infection?

Anyone who engages in the following behaviours is at risk for contracting HIV:
1.  Sexual intercourse (please see Safer Sex Guidelines)

2.  Sharing needles for drug or steroid use (please see Harm Reduction Services)
3.  Received a blood transfusion prior to 1985
4.  Has had an STI (please see STI's)
