The Tilbury Evangelical Mennonite Church began holding services in September of 2000 and held chartering services in June of 2001.

The congregation consists mainly of young families with Low German Mennonite background from Mexico, but who have a desire for worship servies that are more in English, with a focus on evangelism. There is some German content in the worship services. Tilbury EMC has a fairly large number of children, youth, college students, and career adults. The ministries include Sunday School, worship services, Youth events, men’s and women’s meetings and church social events.
