World AIDS Day is observed on the first of December every year.  It is a time to mourn and remember those who have died of HIV/AIDS and a time to reflect upon the global impact HIV/AIDS is having today.

It is a day to remind people, all around the world of the impact HIV/AIDS has on every one of us.
World AIDS Day in Windsor is marked by a candle light vigil and a display at Artspeak.

ACW's 2004 World

 AIDS Day Event:

Generation Y: Truth &

 Dare ... Dare 2B Strong

The ACW hosted a youth conference on December 1, 2004 at the Caboto Club in Windsor from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Students and school staff from across Essex, Lambton and Kent County joined for food, music, prizes and educational sessions about being young, safe, and strong.

What puts you at risk - play Sexual Jeopardy

How you can be more accepting of diversity

How to create your own "Flags of Hope" quilt, which will be displayed at your school to offer hope for the fight against HIV and AIDS.
